‘Balsam Bashing’
Join our group of dedicated volunteers ensuring that our local area is kept clear of Himalayan Balsam. Light work in the open air.

Wednesday 3 July: 10.30am, John of Jerusalem Woods (down the lane from Bow Green Farm, Bow Lane), with the Bollin Valley Partnership
Sunday 7 July: 10.30am, Ashley Mill Bridge
Sunday 14 July: 10.30am, Priory Road / Bow Lane Corner
Sunday 21 July: 10.30am, Meet point to be confirmed
Sessions will finish around 1pm
Please wear long trousers and long sleeves, as we may be working amongst nettles, and suitable footwear. Gloves can be provided or bring your own gardening gloves.

Directions to Ashley Mill Bridge
Join the footpath at the bottom of Grange Road, Bowdon Vale (postcode WA14 3EY) and proceed down some woodland steps, over a small bridge, where the path opens out. Continue along the path beside the river until you reach Ashley Mill Bridge on your right hand side.
